It began with a dream that was fueled by faith.

God led a handful of believers and a bi-vocational pastor in 1952 to begin a house church. Two years later construction began on a building at 955 South Washington, and we became The First Church of God.  By faith and the labor of willing volunteers, the church was completed and God filled the building with people.

The dream continued and faith expanded when the small church stepped out again in 1975 to relocate to 12th and Missouri. Upon completion three years later, we took the name of the community we hoped to serve, and became known as The Highland Park Community Church.

As the congregation continued to thrive, the building was expanded several times until space limitations necessitated another relocation, this time to the vacant LaBelle’s building we now call home. God honored our faithfulness and continued to bring significant growth and impact, not only in Casper, but literally around the world.

In the last two decades our current building has been remodeled, completed and filled. Today we have four weekend worship services, vibrant children and youth ministries, a life-changing counseling center called the Healing Place, over 100 community groups for youth and adults and a Faith Promise Missions outreach that spans the globe. And the God-honoring, life-changing list of ministries goes on and on!

In looking to tomorrow, we hope that YOU will join us in making history again, as we seek to impact Casper for Christ.
