About Us
Seasoned? Of course. Sedate? Never! Our Senior Adult Ministry (SAM), under the leadership of Pastor Merrill Smith, is a vibrant and activity-filled group of 50-, 60-,70-, 80-, and even 90-somethings! With the help of a Ministry Board and regular meetings, together we plan monthly activities to fit all tastes. Our mission is to minister in a meaningful way to those over the age of 50, and to do it with energy, enthusiasm and fun.
Just a Few of Our Activities...
- Seminars on issues related to estate planning, health, or other matters of personal concern
- Overnight trips...to places that are educational or entertaining
- Day Trips and lunches together
- An annual Summer Picnic
- A Meal and Fun Night in the Fall
- A Christmas Dinner and Program (Items brought to this event are later given to a local charity)
